Hillary Clinton is being implicated in yet another scandal. Wikipedia founder Julian Assange, as well as Judicial Watch, are both corroborating the assertions of Turkish President Tayip Erdogan that the US-led coalition forces gave birth to ISIS, supplying weapons for the Libyan rebels. The Sun, a UK newspaper reported this:
Erdogan complained that rather than supporting Turkey, the West was backing the Kurdish Peoples’ Protection Units (YPG) and Democratic Union Party (PYD), who work with the United States on the ground in Syria, and also ISIS.
“They are supporting all the terror groups — the YPG, PYD but also including Daesh ([ISIS]),” Erdogan said.
“It’s quite clear, perfectly obvious,” he said, adding that Turkey could provide proof in pictures and video.
Assange said it was not just Hillary Clinton who was responsible for arming ISIS, but the US State Department. When the US starts meddling in the affairs of other countries, including removing people from power and backing opposing forces, there’s no way to control how the dominos will fall.
He gives the example of the US’s intervention in Libya, removing Ghadafi from power by arming rebel forces — which turned out to create the circumstances for the birth of ISIS. But WND.com reports Hillary’s dealing with the rise of ISIS wasn’t purely negligence. They’ve been reporting on the Clinton State Department for years, using Wikileaks and Judicial Watch information dumps to track it.
However, since 2011 WND has reported that documents released by Judicial Watch and Wikileaks showed Clinton’s State Department engineering the clandestine transfer of weapons from Libya to Syria that ended up in the hands of terrorist groups aligned with ISIS and al-Qaida.
In May 2015, WND reported Judicial Watch made public more than 100 pages of previously classified Department of Defense and Department of State documents implicating the Obama administration in a cover-up to obscure the role Clinton and the State Department played in the rise of ISIS.
With multiple sources agreeing that Clinton’s State Department was to blame for setting off what is now ISIS, the question is still why would Clinton do this? Judge Andrew Napolitano senior judicial analysis with Fox News said this:
[Judge Andrew] Napolitano detailed for WND his understanding of the events behind the Obama administration’s decision to run a clandestine war against Gadhafi.
“Secretary Clinton decided she had to get rid of Gadhafi because she wanted to take credit when she ran for president for being the government official responsible for liberating Libya,” Napolitano said.
If Clinton was arming Libyan rebels to create a situation where she freed Libya, her actions have instead lead to the birth of ISIS, now one of the largest distributors of terror in recent memory. The vacuum that Ghadafi left also has destabilized an entire region as Aleppo, Syria has come under the black flag of ISIS and Russia, Iran, and Turkey are all vying for influence as they try to insert themselves into Syria. Americans also rejected Clinton for President, probably in no small measure about how things played out with the Benghazi embassy attack and Clinton’s immediate reporting of it.
